So you’re thinking about planning a rooftop wedding in New York City? Or maybe you’re just nosey and love to dream big like me – either way – I got you! New York City is known for the yellow taxi cab, hot dog food carts and maybe even a rat or two on the subway but what it also is known for is its SKYLINE!! New York City has such an iconic skyline that if you’re going to get married there, you might as well find a venue that caters to it. So here is my comprehensive list ~in no particular order~ of New York City rooftop wedding venues with a skyline view!
This section is simply talking about the basics of the venue that couples need to know about, including the main logistics of getting there, where it is, etc. before getting into the venue’s actual features. Add a quick intro sentence here if you’d like, saying that you’ll be talking about the venue logistics & first things you need to know.
We’ll talk Venue location, Skyline Views, Price Range, and Guest Count! Let’s dive in!
Please note I have not photographed at all of these places so the photos are pulled from the venue’s website and are not mine!
SoHo, NYC
An iconic rooftop venue and a great way to start this list off! This Rooftop has amazing skyline views and is a great place for your wedding! With both interior and exterior space for your wedding, there is over 29,000 square feet of usable space – meaning you can invite up to 325 seated guests and 720 for cocktail-style reception. Are you kidding me? That is MASSIVE.
They have a delicious in-house catering menu for both cocktail events and weddings so you don’t have to worry about bringing in another vendor! Although they do not have their pricing online, you can expect $200 minimum per head. This is not finalized by the venue so don’t take my word for it!

Midtown, NYC
Wanna talk about stunning views? The Skylark has stunning views of the Empire State Building, Times Square and the Hudson River. If you want a venue that screams New York – this is it! A modern, sophisticated and smaller venue on the 30th floor of a skyscraper with 2,000 square feet of event space, The Skylark can accommodate a seated dinner of 80 guests.
I do think it’s worth noting that the roof deck is 1,600 square feet and smaller than you may be imagining. Although they seem poised to help bring your visions to life, I have yet to see a wedding ceremony happen outside due to the furniture that resides there.
They do offer in-house catering and bartending. I could not find their exact pricing online but some estimates for The Skylark are as follows:

Midtown, NYC
A gorgeous rooftop venue located in the heart of Manhattan, the Monarch Rooftop is a gorgeous venue for you to say “I do.” With 5,000 square feet, hundreds of feet above 35th Street, this venue provides indoor and outdoor event space, glass doors, windows and ceilings to bring in all the natural light and New York City views you can get. It also has its own mixologists, special events team and catering for your wedding!
They can accommodate 65 guests or less for a plated seated dinner for reception only rentals. They do offer cocktail style receptions as well! Pricing is not listed on their website and frankly was all over the place online ranging from $20,000 to $60,000 so I would highly recommend reaching out to them for more exact pricing!

Queens, NY
Now before you read “Queens” and say this isn’t what you want, let me tell you about the luxurious, do-it-all type of venue that is Ravel Hotel. They have an event staff with over 20 years of experience that are here to make your wedding day magical!
Their all-inclusive packages include an event coordinator, bridal suite, signature cocktails, catering, tables, chairs, seating chart, glassware, flatware, servers, bartenders and more. They have a variety of locations such as the Ten Rooftop, Observation Deck, Penthouse, and The Grand Ballroom
Ravel Hotel lists some of their pricing online including:

Midtown, NYC
If you want to think out of the box and freedom to create your own vision, The Farm might be your venue of choice. This is a gorgeous outdoor terrace with 2769 square feet and a people capacity of up to 75 people (presumably less if you would like a sit down dinner).
It’s in a very unique area of town and has a gorgeous terrace that is customizable for your intimate wedding!
According to The Farm’s website they have flexible pricing:

West Village, NYC
This venue goes by multiple names: Penthouse 463, Ramscale Studio, Ramscale Penthouse – so pick which one you want and let’s roll with it! Alas, it’s a 4,000 square foot terrace and interior event space located in the same building where Thomas Edison worked! Fun fact for ya! It has a maximum capacity of 150 standing cocktail reception guests and 100 guests seated.
There are 2 raised stages, makeup rooms, and bridal suites attached as well!
They do not have any pricing online or any information besides “starts at $7,000/day” so just take that and run with it!

Midtown, NYC
Ivy Terrace is a luxurious venue located in Midtown, NYC with gorgeous views looking over the city. It’s a lounge style event space that opens up to the terrace with the gorgeous views. This is a great venue for a more intimate wedding accommodating up to 30 people.
The venue does not provide much event information online but you can assume it’ll be between $7,000-11,000 for an event rental.
If you’re interested in booking at Ivy Terrace you can inquire here!
Williamsburg, NY
This venue is obviously not in New York City but has some iconic, waterfront New York City views that validated it to be on my list! This is a great venue for a smaller wedding with only 13 guests if you book both inside and the roof deck, or 80 guests if you only book inside.
They do not have any in-house catering, tables, chairs, etc. If you want a blank slate and just need something to stand on and not even a roof over your head for your wedding canvas then this is the place for you!
The venue does have their pricing online which is great for planning ahead! The W Loft rental fees are:
This includes a 14 hour rental from 11am-1pm, which is a very generous amount of time for all prep, set up, ceremony, party, and take down!

Brooklyn, NY
So this is another unique venue that I felt deserved to be included on this list even though it’s not “in New York City.” It’s got gorgeous views of the city and that’s good enough for me! This venue is a literal glass box with a fully retractable roof that can be closed for inclement weather.
It’s roughly 10,000 square feet with a 220-250 seated guests capacity (depending on band vs dj) and 350 standing guest capacity, wrap around marble bar and elevators – hallelujah! It also comes with tables, chairs, candles, flatware, glassware and in-house catering and bartending which is fabulous again because it’s all done in-house making your planning life way easier!
The best news is it sits above a Hotel so all of your out of town guests can stay the night – or even in town guests can have a stay-cation!
The Box House Hotel is very transparent with their pricing which is always a plus because you know before inquiring what you’re working with! From their guide they range depending on peak season vs off-season as well as weekday vs weekend:
Of course there are always additional fees such as gratuity, Administrative fees, NY State Sales Tax and any additional upcharges based on food, beverage choices, and holiday seasons!

Brooklyn, NY
Another venue not quite in New York but stunning skyline views so it deserves its own recognition! 74Wythe is a unique space in that it can accommodate any size wedding. It has multiple FLOORS that you could rent as well as views! We’re going to talk about renting The Roof at 74Wythe and planning for the Manhattan views.
The Roof holds 400 standing guests and 150-170 seated guests on the Main Deck. They have tables, chairs, sound systems, and lounge furniture to assist in your party planning! 74Wythe also has exclusive bar packages to take another vendor off your plate!
74Wythe does not have their wedding pricing online specifically and can always change, but the following estimates are as close to pricing as we can get:
This includes the tables, chairs, cocktail hour room, sound system, etc.
